Demonstrating the importance of technology in business to the next generation

Staffordshire University LogoThe director of Asset Handling, Stephen Harrison, has been invited to speak at this year’s Digital Technology Conference (DigiTech 2015). The conference is being held at Staffordshire University on the 28th October and will host 18 guest speakers from a range of areas, including cyber crime, game development, entrepreneurship, and business performance.

Harrison will be delivering a presentation entitled ‘From Beaconside to Boardroom’ that will look at his journey from being a student to becoming the managing director of Asset Handling. Harrison commented, ‘Speaking at the DigiTech conference will allow Asset Handling to engage with our clients and the future generations of the technology industries; it is a fantastic opportunity for us to demonstrate to them the importance of technology in the world of business.’

The School of Computing at Staffordshire University is celebrating 50 years of computing excellence this year, and as part of the celebrations will be hosting its DigiTech 2015 conference at the Stafford campus.
