We at Asset Handling, want to provide an update to our customers on the business continuity plans we have implemented to ensure you continue to receive the best service possible during the current climate.
Following the change in the UK Government guidance, we have implemented our remote working policy for all staff based out of our Daresbury office until further notice.
Below are the measures that Asset Handling are taking as part of our business continuity plan, to ensure we continue to deliver our IT support and services to you as normal:
Although we have fixed offices, the Asset Handling infrastructure has been built to work from any location, with the resiliency to cope with increased demands for remote access and is tested regularly to guarantee this. Every member of our team has the necessary equipment to be able to work remotely.
We take security extremely seriously and as standard our devices come with encryption and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to protect our cloud-based systems, ensuring secure access to our business-critical systems, regardless of location.
As part of our business continuity planning, we conduct regular, phased and controlled scenario-based testing of our support teams to ensure we’re able to provide ongoing IT support to you. Our ticketing system is email based, meaning that any support ticket raised can be picked up and resolved regardless of location, and agreed SLAs will continue to be met. We are dedicated to ensuring that we provide the best remote support as possible.
Therefore, during this period, our Support team will continue to provide all services to the high standards that you expect from us.
During this period, all our staff will continue to collaborate and communicate with each other without interruption. Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business are pivotal parts of our business operation and how we communicate with each other within departments and across office locations daily; from assisting each other with queries, to facilitating meetings.
The way that you contact us will remain the same. All contact details are below;

The current situation is fast-moving and evolving every day, and we’ll continue to monitor the situation closely and follow guidelines set out by the UK Government.
Our priority is to continue to provide you with the very best service possible and I am confident that with the procedures and policies we’ve put in place, that will continue. If you have any questions, need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Everybody stay safe and take care of each other.
