The Association of Cost Engineers (ACostE) will be holding their annual conference on 6th and 7th July at Birmingham City University and Asset Handling will be joining the conference to deliver some training.
The conference will combine presentations by guest speakers and fellow members. In addition, to support continual professional development, a series of short workshops are available to attend.
One of these workshops is to be on Effective Asset Management and will be led by our own Stephen Harrison.
Examples of the learning outcomes to be delivered include;
Understanding the benefits of proactively managing asset information
Understanding what assets you have
Record and maintain the value of all the assets (Whole life Cost)
Know what has happened to those assets throughout their lifecycle (cradle to grave tracking)
Reactive and Planned Maintenance
CBM (Condition Based Monitoring)
Asset Risk Analysis including
o FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis)
o SPOF (Single Point of Failure) Analysis
Innovations in this area are a specialism of ours and we are really pleased to be able to impart some of our knowledge to the experts at ACostE.
If you are attending we look forward to meeting you there
